After a long day of driving through the mountains we finally arrived at the nun monastery we were to stay for 2 days. Nobody was there when we arrived and I went with the driver to call the agency. We needed to go 10km to find a shop with a phone and the agency was closed. So we went back and there was a Dutch woman assisting the monastry and she said we need to wait for another women assistant. That woman was German and from my home town and later we found out that we even knew the same people and visited the same Clubs some 30 years ago. What a small world. The stay in the nunnery was really nice, calm and peacful. What a nice place to relax.
an hour's drive away from our route to the Tsokar lake - also a misunderstanding as our driver thought the Nyerma monastery was here - our next stop - but it was close to Leh
