Oh what a day. After 30 min it started raining. So we put on our rain ponchos. When you move a while uphill like that you are as wet inside as outside from sweating. After the lunch break the sun showed up again and it was getting hot. The way was part of the watering system for the rice fields and totally muddy. Partially because of all the rain the way was like a small river. If there is anything the have lots of in Nepal, it is water.
Then, the last 45 min. was a steep climp and the last 15. min stairs - exhausting. And on top of that Jhamka chose a guesthouse on top of the hill - another 50 steps. But the place was nice and the food good. Only thing the rooms were really small and the room wall was only 4mm plywood. For God's sake it's not the peak season. You would hear every noise.
