Having breakfast I heard that a girl from another group had a bad diarrhoea and was vomiting (looks a bit like AMS, regelarly this is not coming with diarrhoea, but in the high mountains every desease is AMS as long as proven to be something else). As I have always a lot of medicin with me I offered them to take what hey want before we left. Found out later that they decided to decend to see if that helps.
Today we want for an acclimatisation enhancement visit a 95 years old monk which lives 400m steep up mountain since 42 years. His wife died last year and now his 66 years old daughter takes care for him. She goes down to the village on a regular basis to get food and other stuff.
It was a really steep climb but worth it.
After descending again I had a nice hot solar powered shower and relaxed.
